In Bangladesh, few dishes stir up as much passion as Kacchi Biryani. Rich, aromatic, and steeped in tradition, it’s the centerpiece of celebrations and a comfort food for everyday indulgence. Among the countless restaurants serving it, three names stand out for their consistency, quality, and crowd-pulling flavors — Kacchi Bhai, Sultan’s Dine, and Kacchi Dine – here’s my personal review.
Kacchi Bhai – Rich Flavor & Authentic Aroma
From the moment the plate arrives, Kacchi Bhai’s signature aroma is unmistakable. The basmati rice is perfectly cooked, each grain separate yet infused with spice. The mutton is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, while the potato adds an earthy sweetness to balance the spices.
Every bite feels like a complete experience, with flavors that linger long after the meal is over. It’s the kind of kacchi you remember and want to come back for.
My First Experience with Kacchi Bhai in Chittagong – Honest Review
The first time I tried Kacchi Bhai was when they launched their outlet in Chittagong. They had an exciting 50% discount offer on Foodpanda, so I placed an order eagerly. However, the delivery took over 2 hours, which was quite disappointing. Waiting that long for food can test anyone’s patience.
Despite the late delivery, the taste of Kacchi Bhai biryani truly impressed me. The portion of rice was generous, and the meat size was excellent — juicy, tender, and flavorful. The quality of the food definitely lived up to its reputation, and it didn’t disappoint.
Kacchi Bhai currently has only one outlet in Chittagong city, where I live, so I often visit the restaurant in person. The dining environment is pleasant, and the taste of their kacchi biryani remains good. However, I have noticed that the quantity of food has decreased recently, which is a bit disappointing

Why Sultan’s Dine is a Must-Try for Kacchi Lovers
Sultan’s Dine takes kacchi to a level of elegance. The first thing you notice is the presentation — vibrant rice, succulent mutton pieces, and the warm scent of saffron and ghee. The taste is deep and layered, with dried plums adding a subtle hint of sweetness that cuts through the richness.
It’s a place that combines tradition with a touch of refinement, making it a favorite for special gatherings.
My Experience Ordering Sultan’s Dine Kacchi Biryani Online
As a food lover, I enjoy both dining out and ordering food online through platforms like Foodpanda, Pathao, and Foodi. In 2022, Foodpanda launched a special campaign for Sultan’s Dine offering a 50% discount voucher “Sultan50”, which gave 300 BDT off on orders of 300 BDT or more. It was almost like getting free food!
I decided to order Sultan’s Dine kacchi biryani with borhani, and the bill came to 310 BDT. Applying the voucher, I paid only 10 BDT!
Although I appreciate the great deal, the taste of Sultan’s Dine kacchi wasn’t quite to my liking. However, many people love their kacchi, and I can see why it has such a huge fan base. On a positive note, I tried their mutton teheri, and it was truly top-notch — tender, juicy, and flavorful.
As for the dining environment, I found it to be average — nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a casual meal.
- Sultan’s Dine currently has a total of 17 outlets, with most located in Dhaka and a growing popularity in Chittagong. They may open new branches soon to meet increasing demand.
